Intermediate to Advanced Tutorial

Created in PSP 7..can be done in other versions.

I write my tutorials as if a beginner is going to create them..I'm sure that the advanced will get tired of reading all the notes. But try the tutorial anyway..(smile)

For this tutorial you will need VM Sparkles..I have the Zip for you..open and put into your PSP filter folder..and of course the graphics to make the tutorial..un zip and save in a folder where you can find it.

Step 1

Go to File..New..open a 400x400 transparent image

On the Styles Palette (color) make the foreground

color # 7a5431..flood fill your image..or pick out a color you want.

Step 2

New Layer...Template

Open the template image..Edit..Copy..make your working image active by clicking on it..Edit..Paste as transparent.

Move it a bit downward as the girls head will be under it.

Step 4

Open the girls head

Edit...Copy...Click working image making it active...Edit

Paste as New layer..Place her under the writing so she looks like she is resting her hand and arm on the orange square with arm slightly outside frame work..See Graphic Header

Step 6

New Layer..Fairy

Open the Fairy graphic

Edit...Copy...Click working image making it active...Edit

Paste as transparent...Screenshot of placement below..placing her so the flowers are at the bottom of frame

Step 5

New Layer..Grissen paper

Open the Grissen Paper graphic

Edit...Copy...Click working image making it active...Edit

Paste as transparent...place it so it is at the bottom left corner..do not cover the frame..if too large..resize to 90 %

Opaque it down to 56

Step 7

Close out the Background layer....click on top layer and go to Layers and Merge Visible

Step 8

Open the Background Layer

Go to Effects..Filters...VM Filter...Sparkle

Add the number 32..Merge Visble..Save as Fairy 1 psp

Step 9

Click your working image and undo the merge

Go to Effects..Filters...VM Filter...Sparkle

Add the number 24..Merge Visble..Save as Fairy 2 psp

Step 10

Click your working image and undo the merge

Go to Effects..Filters...VM Filter...Sparkle

Add the number 16..Merge Visble..Save as Fairy 3 psp

Open Annimation Shop

Files..Open...find the three graphics you saved and holding down the CTRL key click on each....OK.

Click on the number two..Edit..Copy..minimize it...click on number 1..Edit..Paste after current frame

Click on the number 3..Edit..Copy..minimize it...click on number 1...with slider..go to frame 2..tap it to make active...Edit..Paste after current frame

Frame Properties between 10 and 20 on all frames.

View..to see your annimation...Files..Save.in your folder...this will take you through a series of steps which is okay..Finished
